Our Wines

At this point we, at Romililly wines, have dedicated ourselves to producing Pinot Noir.  Currently we are sourcing fruit from the Russian River Valley. In 2006 we produced 200 cases of wine, and increased to 300 cases in 2007.  We are lucky enough to be sourcing fruit from some of the best vineyards within this appellation.

 The wines that we have crafted are made to express the characteristics of Pinot Noir, while still allowing the very distinct characteristics of the Russian River terroir to shine.

We do our best to let the grape do its job.  We do not over oak, and we choose the best oak from the best forests, and coopers, in France.  We use 30% new French oak.  The coopers are Demptos (Allier), DJ, and Louis Latour.  The remaining 70% of the barrels are second and third year barrels.  This is the blend of oak that we have found to best fit our wine.
